We do not have a 'house' style. Instead, we seek to discover something new or unique in each project.
Any design is preceded by a careful study of the site's historical, technical, social and financial characteristics, and pays attention to the client's budget.
We admire excellent work of all periods, and respect what is of value in the most ordinary structure. In some cases, we recommend only "light touch" intervention to achieve maximum impact. Our design is informed by good construction practice, particularly the craft-led methods found in historical buildings, and we avoid using outlandish stylistic riffs or awkward geometries.
